What we track per clinician

• Total hours required by each state on the roster, on each state's own cycle
• Mandated topics: controlled substance prescribing, human trafficking, implicit bias, ethics, pain management, and others by state
• How each state treats national board certification toward the state requirement
• Certificates and transcripts, collected and stored as audit evidence

The national tables are wrong

The FSMB national table is free and inaccurate in places. It lists Texas at 40 hours per two years against the board's actual 48, and Washington at 150 per three years against the Medical Commission's 200 per four. A group planning against those numbers is short on hours at renewal and finds out with weeks left.

We verify against the board source, and we carry the source URL and the verification date for every requirement we hold.

Certification does not substitute everywhere

Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee treat national certification as fully satisfying the state requirement. Oregon and New Mexico treat it as partial. California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, Delaware, Washington and the District of Columbia do not count it at all. See the nurse practitioner brief.
